She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Gunter and Isabell Smith Gunter. She is survived by: her children, Terry Pierce, Keith Pierce (Annette), Danny Pierce (Jana) and Kevin Craps (Christy); her grandchildren, Michael Pierce (Stacey), Melissa Sease (Larry), Collin Pierce, Nathan Craps, James Pierce, Michaela Pierce, Mike Pierce (Joanna Buxkemper) and Ivana Pierce; and her sister Loulla Vaughn. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Samaria Baptist Church (6560 Fairview Rd, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
