It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Minnie Sue Matthews of Batesburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent L. L. "Pop"; and her husband Durhal Lee Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Clark Matthews (Trudy) and Rivon M. Van Laan. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church, 860 North Lee Street, Leesville, SC 29070.
