She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Redd and Smith McCarty; and her brother David McCarty. She is survived by: her stepfather Wilson Ouzts of Johnston; her children, Delynn Barnes (Randy), Donna Durst and Brent Durst (Carrie); her grandchildren, Adam Barnes (Susan), Stephanie Widmann (Stan), Miranda Crapps, Samantha Brandt (Alex), Thad Gosick and Clayton Gosick; her nephew Davey McCarty; and her niece Amy McCarty James. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
