She was predeceased by: her parent Barney B. of Batesburg; and her sister Freddie Long. She is survived by: her parent Mattie Prater of Batesburg; her spouse Price Timmerman Corder; her children, Alashea Markley (Marc Peele) of North, SC and Phillip Prater of Las Vegas, NV.; her grandchildren, Chandler Markley (Emily) of Lexington, SC and Jamie Markley Buckland (David) of Irmo, SC; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Brandon and Tony; her niece Kim Cochcroft; and her friend Betty Floyd Shealy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to First Baptist Church of Batesburg, 436 W. Church Street, Batesburg, SC 29006.
