He was predeceased by: his parents, John Radie and Ruth Waters Mabus; and his sister Jane Trotter (Billy). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gregory Mabus; his children, John Ashley Mabus (Connie) of Leesville, SC and Wymberly Kay Steele (Mark) of Frisco, TX.; his grandchildren, Amberly Biberstein, Presley Mabus, Abigail Biberstein, Radie Mabus and Grant Biberstein (Lysette); his great grandchild Bryson Biberstein; and his siblings, Tommy Mabus (Patricia), Robert Mabus (June), Ramona Hallman (Dan), Kay Shirey (Mike), Dorothy Minick (Duane) and Gail Davidson (Walter).
