He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Winnie Shealy Lorick; his son J. Myron Lorick, Sr.; and his siblings, Furman, Byron Lorick, Derrell Storey, Grace Cockrell, Shadie Wooley and Cathleen Are.
He is survived by: his wife Yevonne McCarty Lorick; and his daughters, Nelva Lorick and Wanda Brown (Richard). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
