He is survived by: his children, Pamela E. Mohl (David) of Pennsylvania and James Edward Yates, Jr. (Kimberly); his sisters, Janet Y. Shetterly and Nancy Y. Ambrose; and his grandchildren, Eric James Yates, Sarah Elizabeth Mohl and Carly Alyssa Yates.
