He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Padgett, Sr. and Nell Jones Padgett; his spouse Alise P. Padgett; and his son William Guy Padgett. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Watson (Maynard); his daughter-in-law Brenda Padgett; his grandchildren, Tiffany Councill (Hunter) and Brad Padgett; his great grandchild Blake Councill; his sister Nadine Anderson; and his close friend JoAnn Shealy.
