She was predeceased by: her grandchild Christopher Duke; and her brother Kelly Temples. She is survived by: her husband Richard Waddell Duke; her son Richard M. "Mike" Duke (Teresa) of Leesville; her brother Shelly Temples of Saluda; her grandchild Kelli Vann (Kevin); and her great grandchild Kaleb Vann.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home or West Creek Baptist Church.
