She is survived by: her son James Arthur Matthews of Saluda; her brother James Duke of Batesburg; her daughter-in-law Kathryn Brewer of Johnston; and her granddaughters, Angie Smith of Johnston, Sandra Jumper of Leesville and Kathryn Lynn Brewer of Anderson.
