She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Miller III and Lois Muriel Jones Saul; her siblings, Jerry L. Saul and Patsy; and her brother-in-law Bob Nightingale.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Ligon; her children, Johnathan Adam Ligon and Robin L. Matthews; her sisters, Diane S. Day (Butch), Valorie Cooper, Ivonne Priest (Andy) and Wilma Lois Saucier (Yancey); her sister-in-law Mattaline Hicks; her close friends, Gayle Boozer, Linda K. Smallen, Sandra Dubose, Candy Botts, Gary Botts, Vicki Pierce, Linda Sue and Dennis Whitman; her caregivers, Lavette Roark and Janie Bryant; and her pet Abi.
