It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Hartley of Batesburg, South Carolina, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Appleton and Harriet Thompson Appleton; her son Brent Curran Hartley; and her brother Joey Appleton. She is survived by: her husband Chevis Hartley; her daughter Kipp Palmer (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Curran Hartley (Heather), Seth Preston Hartley, McKenna Vey Palmer and Kelson William Palmer; her daughter-in-law Lisa Hartley; her brothers, Lawrence Appleton (Delores) and James Appleton (Loretta); and her brother-in-law Ronald Hartley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
