He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Thomas and Pearl Hines Haines; and his wife Kathleen Carrick Haines. He is survived by: his children, Glenda E. Pringle (Chris) of Oxford, Sharon E. Halsey of Columbia, Gloria J. Haines (Jodi Brown) of Seneca Falls, NY, Faye Dudley (Gerald) of Bemidji, MN and Leland R. Haines of Batesburg; his grandchildren, Julia Garrard (Danny) of England, Christy Bosdet (Nick) of England and Christopher C. Dudley of Bemidji, MN; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Benjamin, Ellis and Miles.
