He was predeceased by: his father Ed Prater. He is survived by: his mother Frankie; his siblings, Jim Prater (Julia), Marsha Kirkland and Becky Brown; his nieces, Rebecca Brewer Gordon and Carrie Rachel Dean; and his nephew Eric Brewer. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
