She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mark and Mittie Mae Matthews McCarty; her husband John L. "Pete" Lorick; her children, J. Myron Lorick Sr. and Nelva Lorick; and her siblings, James McCarty, Helen Corley and Dorothy Merchant.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Brown (Richard); and her sister Meta Pow. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
