She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hicks and Flossie Woody Hicks; and her siblings, Phyllis Randall, Lois Boyd, Barbara Burton and Harley Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Wade (John), Donald Davidson (Kimberly) and Lynette Goad; and her sister Freda Lester. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
