He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Haskel and Grace Nichols Leaphart. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Leaphart (Starr) and Jessica Ward (Ricky); his sisters, Deborah Gunter (Raymond) and Bonnie Jo McHargue; his grandchildren, Zoe Leaphart, Ayden Leaphart and Alanna Ward; his nephew Gene Ray Gunter; and his nieces, Melissa Stradinger (Andy) and Jada McHargue.
