She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Adams and Genova Wallace; her husband Timothy Cannon; her children, Ray Allen Johnson (Essie Mae), Walter Lee Johnson (Loretta) and Mary Ruth Johnson; her siblings, Walter H. Adams, Willie Wallace, Arthur Adams, Eliza Cannon and Elnora Glover; her godson Leroy C. Johnson; her stepsons, Mitchel Cannon, Robert Cannon and Cornell Cannon; and also Clyde Ray Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister Susane Adams Summers; her children, Charles Johnson, Teresa Martin and Clyde Johnson; and her stepchildren, Jeffrey Cannon, J. T. Cannon, Betty Jean Sugick and Nettie Mae Hill. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, fifty-two great-grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
