He was predeceased by: his parents, Oza E. Black and Maude Long Black; his former wife Barbara Holston Black; and his siblings, Von Black, Dial Black, Ozalee Price and Annette Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Crouch Black; his children, Ronald Wayne Black, Jr. of Batesburg-Leesville and Misty Taylor (Chance) of Gilbert; his grandchildren, Jeremy Black, Meredith Black, Gracie, Gabbie, Gage and Gavin Taylor; and his siblings, Leonard Black, Melvin Black and Geraldine Black.
In lieu of flowers, Ronald asked memorials be made to the Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Restoration Fund.
