He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Wise and Eola Ligon Wise; and his brother Ulysses Wise. He is survived by: his son Nicholas Hughes; his siblings, Mary Hill of Batesburg-Leesville, Leola Riley of Batesburg-Leesville, Earnestine Dozier of Batesburg-Leesville, Millestine Watkins of Aiken, Gloria Morin of Forest Park, Georgia, Margaret Wise of Forest Park, Georgia and Robert Wise of Ridge Spring; and his brother-in-law David Dozier of Batesburg-Leesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
