She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Jay; and her grandson Amari Khalil Quattlebaum. She is survived by: her husband Major Lee West; her children, Katara Leaphart (Gregory) of Lexington, Major Quattlebaum of Batesburg-Leesville and Justin Quattlebaum of Columbia; her siblings, Victoria Hill of Spartanburg, Beverly Jay of Gilbert, Angela Morris (Walter) of Ridge Spring, Tonya Hill (Kenneth) of Seattle, Shirnika Jay of Gilbert and Damon Jay of Gilbert; her siblings-in-law, Sylvester West (Sateria) of Batesburg-Leesville, Larry West (Louise) of Batesburg-Leesville, Melvin West of Batesburg-Leesville, Joseph West (Noreen) of Columbia and Sylvia Hair of Columbia; and her stepchildren, Rondy Harris (Jordana), Senta Sutton and April Long. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
