He is survived by: his wife Betty McCord Summer; his son Michael Shane Summer (Candy); his stepchildren, Will Tiller (Kristy) and Tracy McCoy (Chris); his sister Claris S. Moore; his grandchildren, Adrienne Jonelle, Ashleigh Nicholle (Michael Davaron Summer), Brittany Baker (Eric), Kaitlyn (Nathan Tiller) and Madeline (Samuel McCoy); and his great grandchild Hattie Marie Baker.
