She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marion Spilliards and Susie Nettles Spilliards; her husband James Ralph Smith, Sr.; and her son Jimmy Smith. She is survived by: her son Mike Smith; her sister Patsy Harley (Willie); her grandchildren, Marion Smith (Michelle) and Brianna S. Metts (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Trey and Emily Smith.
