She was predeceased by: her parents, George Herman "Papa" Staley and Nettie Bell Williams Staley; her husbands, Timothy J. Cannon and Theodore "Ted" Gardener; and her sons, Cornell Cannon, Robert Lee Cannon, Michael Cannon, Mitchell Cannon and Buster Muller.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Sugick (Walter), Nettie Cannon-Hill of Batesburg-Leesville, SC, John T. Cannon, Reverend Jeffery Cannon and Jamie Gary of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; and her siblings, Beatrice Stephens (Willie) of South Congaree, SC, Mary Ruth Staley-Satar of Spartanburg, SC and Roosevelt Staley (Patricia) of Sumter, SC. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
