He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry James and Ella Holloway Coleman; his siblings, Willie James Coleman, Robert Coleman, Ernest Coleman, Julia Coleman and Ella Ree Coleman; his nephew Sgt. Larry Coleman; and his sister-in-law April Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Xavier Coleman and Tiffany Hill; his grandchildren, Jamir Hair and Jamod Bell; his siblings, Eddie Coleman, Joseph Coleman, David Coleman, Willie Mae Coleman, Lugenia Coleman and Dorothy Pace; and his siblings-in-law, Darron Pace Sr., Audrey Coleman and Belinda Coleman.
