He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Laws and Annie Kate Israel Laws; his wife Sadie A. Laws; and his children, Andrew S. Laws and Suzanne Michelle Hoadwonic.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth Gregory Laws; his sister Nellie Ross; and his grandchildren, Robert Wesley Laws, II and Katherine "Katie" Laws.
