He is survived by: his children, James A. Cook (Ann), Shamika Pool and Belinda Bay; and his sisters, Mildred Jones, Gloria Brown, Carolyn Johnson, Eleanor Williams and Ruby Johnson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
