He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carson and Lena Estelle Lorick Adams; his wife Ruth W. Adams; his granddaughter Melisa Craig; and his siblings, William E. Adams, Reba Delila Taylor and Miriam Temples.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy S. Adams (Nita) and J. Carrol Adams, Jr. (Kayla); his brother Marion Adams; his grandchildren, Logan Adams (Christy), Korey Adams, Crystal Adams, Kayla Gillam (Mike), John Capps (Brandi) and Madison Adams; and his caregivers, Lynn and Ashley Stoudemire. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Batesburg-Leesville Chapel (256 Main St, Leesville, SC 29070). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Ridge Crest Memorial Park (329 Summerland Ave, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006).
