He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marshall Lane and Eleanor Glidewell Lane Pinson; and his stepfather Bill Pinson. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Swygert Lane; his children, Marshall "Flip" Gregory Lane, II (Bambi), Tommie Price (Carla), Tracy Price, Terry Price (Shoyl), Abby Townson (Brian), Victoria Lane, Tina Barfield (Danny) and Crystal Spires (Chris); and his sisters, Barbara Lane Proctor (Ronnie) and Ann Mary Garvin (Jim). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Batesburg-Leesville Chapel (256 Main St, Leesville, SC 29070). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
