She was predeceased by: her parents, David Dozier and Lula Dozier; her husband Ernest L. Cook; her sisters, Rosa Coleman, Essie Wiggins and Ann Dozier; her son David L. Cook; and her grandson Willie Staley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Doris Chelune and Eva Mae McNair; her brother David Dozier, Jr. (Ernestine); her daughter-in-law Jessie M. Cook; and her sisters-in-law, Elvira Cannon and Katerine Bowers (Henry). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixty-nine great-grandchildren, sixty-five great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
