He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Rudy Whitfield and Annie Louise Prather Whitfield; his son Brian Whitfield; and his siblings, Kenny Whitfield and Phyllis Whitfield Ash.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Toole Whitfield; his children, Tonya Milton (Leigh) and Calvin Whitfield (Ana); his grandchildren, Sundance Whitfield (Rebekah), Shelby Carey (Ian), Reno Whitfield (Victoria), Calvin Whitfield, Kyle Whitfield, Natalie Milton and Jessi Miracle (Douglas); his great grandchildren, Jaiden Whitfield and Sundance Whitfield II; and his siblings, Jeff Whitfield (Sheri), Michael Whitfield (Karen), Jerry Whitfield (Tammy), Susan Austin, Sherry Howell (David), Sheila Stewart (Doug) and Debbie Martin (Ronnie). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
