She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Edward and Elizabeth Trimble Rutland; and her sons, Henry Duane Bodie III and William Russell Bodie. She is survived by: her children, Bob Bodie (Donna) and Martha Bodie Herlong (Joe Ben); and her daughters-in-law, Peggy Bodie and Lynne Bodie. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home, 2900 Millwood Avenue, Columbia, SC or to the charity of one's choice.
