With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theron Stanley Collins (Barnwell, South Carolina), who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Collins and Alma Still Collins; his wife Marie Boyd Collins; his son Michael O. Collins; his siblings, Achille Collins, Marvin "Bob" Collins, Everon Collins, Everett Collins, Joe Collins and Betty Lee Sandifer; and his son-in-law Tony Towne Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Collins Towne of Barnwell and Eric Collins of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Collins, Michael Collins Jr., Sheree Gonzalez (Elvis), Kimberly Hurst (Jon) and Tony Towne Jr. (Dee). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (8744 Marlboro Ave, Barnwell, SC 29812). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery.
