Sherrie Dyson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherrie Dyson of Barnwell, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil O. Barnhart and Louise P. Barnhart; her brothers-in-law, Legree Dyson, Jimmy Babb and Tony Roland; and her mother-in-law Edna Dyson.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy; her daughters, Rhonda Toole (Dale) and Lisa Massengale (Robbie); her grandchildren, Nicholas Toole (Lexi) of Columbia, SC, Jordan (Audrey Mallard) of Columbia, SC, Jared Toole (Olivia) of Barnwell, Nathaniel Toole (Lauren) of Starkville, MS, Melissa Owens of Barnwell, SC., Zachary Massengale of Barnwell, SC. and Cameron Massengale of Barnwell, SC.; her great grandchildren, Parker, Anslee Owens and Henry Toole of Barnwell; and her sisters, Sandra Jo Babb, Lana Barnhart Widener, Robbie Barnhart Roland and Gail Walden of Aiken, SC. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Folk Funeral Home (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853-2612). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Williston Cemetery (2600 Lake Dr, Williston, SC 29853).
Memorial donations can be made to the Williston Cemetery Fund or Barnwell First Baptist Church in Sherrie's memory.
