He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. McConnell and Olean Jones McConnell; and his wife Donna Gatlin McConnell. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda L. McConnell; and his brothers, Chuck McConnell (Betty) of Barnwell and Bill McConnell (Deborah) of New Ellenton, SC. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 greatgrandchildren.
