It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray Lee Riley Sr. of Barnwell, South Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Riley, Sr. and Minnie Roberson Riley; and his siblings, John Riley, Earl Riley, Ruben Riley, Willie Mae Rouse, Minnie Rouse and Louise Ramdeen.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Smith Riley; his children, Murrah L. Riley, Jr. (Petula), Don T. Riley (Pamela), Caroline Rene'Dallas (Randall) and Regina D. Riley; his grandchildren, Tevin Riley, Porscha Dallas, Aaliyah Riley, Jason Dallas, Antonio Riley, Jamie Dallas, Lauren Riley, Jayla Odom, Blake Riley and Reagan Odom; his great grandchildren, Ta'Von Mitchell and Amina Mitchell; his sister Nona R. Riley; and his in-laws, Peter Smith, James Smith (Lorraine), Lizzie Aaron and Emma Lee Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
