James Rodney Scott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Rodney Scott (Barnwell, South Carolina), who passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Scott, Jr. and Ima Diamond Scott; his grandparents, Medicus, Bessie Diamond and James R. Scott, Jr.; his aunts, Frances D. Woodward, Esther Diamond, Jennie D. Curlee and Zelma D. Smith; his uncle Barney Diamond; and his cousins, Sara Ann D. Ott, Mary Bailey, Betty Blackmon and Jan Curlee Cowles.
He is survived by: his cousins, Grover Woodward, Robert Woodward (Kris), Judi McNeely (Jim), Robbie Curlee (Suzanne), Nadia D. Bellamy (Larry), Lucy Hudson, Jackie English, Nancy Harmon (Bobby), Katie Diamond and Sandy Diamond.
Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place, the wearing of face masks is optional.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Barnwell United Methodist Church Cemetery fund in Jimmy's name.
