He is survived by: his children, Philip Prater (Caroline) of Williston, SC, Renee Stephens (Todd) of Irmo, SC and Louise Bates; and his grandchildren, William Prater (Maddy) of Williston, SC and Eleanor Prater (Kaden Jacobs) of Augusta.
