He is survived by: his wife Maxine Pender Hooper of Barnwell, SC; his children, Amy Hutto (Darin) of Denmark, SC, Erica Dukes (Cory) of Barnwell, SC, Gary McDonald "Ski" Hooper (Wendy) of Barnwell, SC, Travis Jacob Hooper (Daphne) of Barnwell, SC and Matthew Thomas Brew Hooper (Vanessa) of Barnwell, SC; his grandchildren, Wayne Hutto, Taylor Hooper Alexander (Daniel), Pender Nolind, Hunter Hutto (Hannah), Shelby Hooper Burdette (Jerred), Sarah Hooper, Mattison Hooper, Alee Hooper, Skyler Hooper, Baylee Hooper, Carlee Hooper, Logan Sturkie, Britten Sturkie and Matthew Gary Brew Hooper; his great grandchildren, Connor Hutto, Mary Chilton, Margaret Alexander, Hartlynn, Hooper Hutto, Eli and Riley Dukes; his brother Jon Hansen (Kim); his siblings-in-law, Nancy Smith and Donnie Pender (Sandy); and his aunts, Gatsie Paulling of St. Matthews, SC and Erline Wiles of Ft. Motte, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
