With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Lara Walta of Barnwell, South Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Christine Lett Blitchington; and her sister Betty Jo Morris (Mickie Deason). She is survived by: her children, Tammy Gunnells (Joey) of Barnwell, Brenda Corley of Barnwell and Richard Walta, Jr. of Barnwell; her siblings, Nancy Sansbury, Christy Orr (William) of Blythewood, Michael Blitchington of Columbia and Billy Orr of Conway; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Cliff, Joshua, Lacie, Elexis, Ridge and Mary Lee. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
