He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander "Bumbsy" Williams and Edna Creech Williams; his siblings, Elizabeth Hutson (O'Neal), Dorothy Grubbs (Marion), Charlie Williams (Lena), Manual T. "Tank" Williams (Hazel) and Elbert Williams; his brother-in-law John Rice Still; and his great grandchild Elena J. McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Dale Whittle Williams; his children, Billy Williams (Merchell), Sheila Carroll (Steven Carroll) of Barnwell, SC and Hope Rhule of Barnwell, SC; his grandchildren, Britney M. Williams, Taylor A. Williams, M'Lynne McCoy (Brian), Tesla M. Rhule and Joanna Register (Jeffrey); his great grandchild Collier D. McCoy; and his sisters, Betty Still, Millie Still (Robert) and Joanne Still (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
