Courtney Shaunte Boyce Obituary
Courtney Shaunte Boyce, age thirty-seven, was born in Barnwell, South Carolina, on January 20, 1986, to Carolyn Boyce and the late Joe Lewis Mack, but reared in the home by her mom and stepdad, Keith Jones.
Seeking God's direction and guidance, she joined the Brown Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Barnwell, South Carolina, where she sang in the choir.
Courtney received her education in the public school system in Barnwell, South Carolina, and while in high school, she became a member of the Barnwell High School Cheerleaders and graduated in the class of 2004. She furthered her education at Denmark Tech in Denmark, South Carolina, where she majored in Business. Courtney worked at UPS as a customer broker for many years.
"Diamond Princess", as she was affectionately called, will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends, and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Lewis Mack; grandparents: Adam and Willese Boyce, Joe Lewis and Clara Mack and Edward Jones, Sr.; and aunt and uncle, Joe Willie (Shirley) Boyce.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Courtney entered eternal rest at her home in Barnwell, South Carolina.
Courtney leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: her children: Sabryanna Smalls, Quilan Boyce and Marco Floyd, Jr. all of Barnwell, South Carolina; step-children: Shakaren Douglas and Catlynn Sykes both of North Augusta, South Carolina; parents: Carolyn (Keith) Jones of Denmark, South Carolina; two brothers: Edward Jones, III. of Barnwell, South Carolina and Carlton Jones of Denmark, South Carolina; grandmother: Maisie Jones of Denmark, South Carolina; seven aunts: Alice (Herman) Jamison, Retha Jefferson, Rebecca Boyce, Sherrie Boyce, and Deloris Boyce all of Barnwell, South Carolina, Jennifer Austin-Jones and Audrey Butler-Jones both of Trenton, New Jersey; one uncle: James (Louise) Boyce of Barnwell, South Carolina; fiance: Marco Floyd, Sr. of Barnwell, South Carolina; parents of fiance: Randy (Joyce) Cartledge of North Augusta, South Carolina; God-son: Byson Brown of Williston, South Carolina; God-daughter: Rae'Lynn Roper of Barnwell, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sympathizing friends.
