She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nelson Smith and Iona Colene Fulmer Smith; her grandparents, James Elmore, Mary Monts Smith of Red Bank, Sidney Cohen and Ada Wessinger Fulmer of Chapin, SC.; her husband Norman Jarvis Hook; her siblings-in-law, R. O. Hook, Jr. of Ravenel, SC and Wilma Hook of Lexington; her sister Edith Hook Arledge of Durham, NC.; and her aunt Cora V. Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Hook (Shawn), Kristie Joyner (Gene) of Lexington and Anita Kilmury (Bruce) of Lexington; her grandsons, Joe Joyner (Michelle) of Lexington, Jeremy Joyner (Shelley) of Lexington, Stanley Hook of West Columbia and Tyler Hook of Cayce; her stepgrandson Wayne Kilmury; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Judsen, Jett, Jase Joyner, Maylee, Stella Kate Joyner and Hazel Hook; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny Hook of Lexington, Jack Arledge of Durham, NC and Bettie Hook of Ravenel, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
