She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence F. Sanders and Johnnie H. Sanders; her son John Wesley Carney; and her brother Philip D. Sanders (John Stanley Boozer). She is survived by: her husband Johnny Wehunt; her daughters, Cheri Lewis (Adam) of Lexington, SC and Allison Boozer of Columbia, SC; her siblings, Rosemary Vriesema of Chapin, SC and John F. Sanders (Ginger) of Edisto Island, SC; and her cousin Priscilla Heiting. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
