It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jane Moody Livingston (Barnwell, South Carolina), born in Sterrett, Alabama, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Columbus Moody and Mae Lillie Reason Moody. She is survived by : her husband Doyle Livingston; her daughters, Cynthia Jane Griffitt (Mark) and Melinda Sue Wilson (Jesse); her grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Peschell (Michael), David Patrick Kinard (April), Jordan Andrew Wilson (Brittany) and Melody Suzanne Brady (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Kylie Grace Peschell, Rhett Benjamin Kinard, Lucas Elijah Peschell, McKenna Rose Brady and Connor Doyle Kinard; her sisters, Lynda Brown (David) and Sue Cox; her nieces and nephews, William Cox, Adrienne Burger (Steve), Michael Cox (Debbie), Laura Fenters (Wes), Brian Brown and John Cox; and her close friend Deloris Smith.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hagood Avenue Baptist Church (120 Franklin St, Barnwell, SC 29812). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Rebuild and Restore Fund for Hagood Avenue Baptist Church's new sanctuary.
