We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 78, Steve Kent of Bamberg, South Carolina, born in Battle Creek, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dale Kent and Mary Marie Knauss Kent. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Marie Talmage Kent; his sons, Jon Steven Kent Jr. (Dawn), Jerry Lee Kent, Jeffery Lynn Kent, Robert Wayne Fletcher of Bamberg and R. James Fletcher of Cordova; his sister Rose Marie Waffle; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Chesley of Bamberg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
