It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Q. Memminger of Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Joyner and Flossie Hayes Joyner. She is survived by: her daughters, Alecea Q. Miller (Alphonzo) of Dalzell, SC and Tarshua Teresa Mack (Christopher) of Orangeburg, SC; her sisters, Wilhelmina Jefferson, Richardell Limehouse, Josephine Duncan, Gwendolyn Folk (Keever) and Flossie Stevenson; her brother-in-law Willie Sapp; her grandchildren, Tamar Q. Cartwright, Tafiyya C. Williams, Jonathan A. Cartwright, Bethany R. Cartwright, Danae N. Mims (Corey), Saporia Martin-Mack, Morgan S. Mack and Marcelle E. Mack; her great grandchildren, Safiyya Hill and Chelsea Mims; and her grandchildren, Cecilia Q. Cooper, Bryson Christopher Mack and Sakari L. Green. She is also survived by extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dash's Funeral Home - Bamberg (12409 Heritage Hwy, Bamberg, SC 29003). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Order of Eastern Star's Will Conduct. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Orange Grove United Methodist Church (3950 Orange Grove Rd, Bamberg, SC 29003).
