He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Fulmer Smoak and Johnnie Ann Beard Smoak. He is survived by: his children, Brandy Joyner (Tripp) of Orangeburg, Heather Smoak of Bamberg, Ryan Smoak (Rebecca) of Branchville, SC and Triston Smoak (Mary Nix) of Bamberg; and his siblings, Cindy Waldo (Chuck) of Havelock, NC and John Ward (Shree) of Rocky Ford, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
