She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Benjamin and Viola Breland Ponds; her husband Dr. Harold Kinard; and her son Hal Kinard. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Cataldo of Fort Mill, SC and Kaye Carson (Jeff) of Branchville, SC; her siblings, Anne Mackenzie (Ronnie) of Goose Creek, SC and Joe J. Ponds (Miriam) of Ashton, SC; her grandchildren, Dr. Jamey Mitchell (Stephanie) of Bamberg, SC, Allison Sexton (Chris) of Phoenix, AZ and Meredith Yocum (Garrett) of Lake Wylie, SC; and her great grandchildren, Cade Mitchell, Anabel Massey, Sadie Sexton, Austin Yocum, Delaney Yocum and Emerson Yocum.
