Edwards, Jr. and Ellis Wells, Jr.; her brother-in-law Joel Hand, Jr.; and her niece Shirley Howard Elliott.
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Eloise Swinson Hand and Joel W. Hand, Sr.; her daughter Dr. Linda Swinson Georges (Gregory) of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Georges of Boise, ID and Graham Leigh Georges (Meghan Yamasaki) of Harker Heights, TX; her sister-in-law Beulah H. Hand of Bamberg; her godson Joel W. Hand, III (Debbie) of Chapel Hill, NC; her nieces and nephews, Scott Hand (Veridee) of Liscomb, IA, Shawn Hand of Rock Hill, SC, Margery Hand Whitley (Ron) of Lancaster, SC, Paula Moore of Gainesville, GA, Dennis, David, Daniel, Donald Wells of Spartanburg, SC., Bill Edwards and Connie Edwards; and also Joel, Jr..
